...On a MK2 laguna the rear disks have a magnetic ring covering the rear bearing - hence the care, the front is a sensor plugged into the hub with teeth on the drive shaft-no magnets involved....
You're quite correct about the rear bearings...
But I think you're mistaken about the front set up ....my car and the other MK2 Lagunas I've seen have the magnetic bearings on the front.
I'm willing to wager 5...no make it 8 pence that your car has this set up also

Hover over the "TOOLS" tab at the top of the page

> click on "Edit Your Details" at the top Left hand side.

> Once the details are entered scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes"
