Re: Clio mk2 brakes
Off the top of my head most of the drum brake/wheel cylinder nipples are M7 and as far as tubing is concerned I would think
you best bet or try a local factor..
Cheers, got some tubing out a local moter factors. Euro & halfords didn't seem to have it, just the whole bleeding kit & it's a 51 plate I've got.
Think nipples are 10mm across flats.
Any suitably sized ring spanner should work.
Don't use an open ender as can round the brass if tight.
Or if feeling sophisticated, you can get a Brake Spanner which is a heavy, open ring, with differing sizes (for common ferrules and nipples) at each end.
Motor factors for pipe.
1 litre should be plenty

Cheers man. Got the brake spanner today. Shall be doing it on Wednesday so hopefully got the right one or I'll be back changing it haha.
Just for your info, I used to find using a six sided socket to crack the nut carefully ideal. Crack it enough as to not let air in. Turn it 0.5/10 out of 10 if that makes sense. Really not much at all.
Proceed the rest of the procedure with a spanner then.
Better still a brake flare nut spanner is the absolute ideal tool. I use them myself.
Yeah I get what you mean. Cheers for the advice man.
