A hole in my brake lens

My MOT is due in a couple of weeks and I have found today, a small hole (about the size of the end of my small fingertip) in the brake lens.
I was wondering if anyone could assist me in naming any product (a red coloured epoxy resin type thing?) that I could use to fill it, securely and to a standard that would allow it to pass the MOT & also where to get it?
I don't really want to shell out on a new rear light when the hole is so small!
