Lightbulb Alarm to replace Laguna II system?

Does anyone know if an aftermarket alarm can be installed on a Laguna II 1.9Dci to get rid of the useless failure of a system that they have installed at the factory and bypass the immobiliser, steering lock etc and just let me start my sodding car?

Asking about this due to the problems I am having that mean my car is reduced to being used as a nice centrepiece outside my house! (see problems below!)

By the way, this idea was suggested by an ex-renault mechanic! Apparently, when he worked there there were so many people having these problems that one of the technicians left and set up his own alarm fitting business!
