If you only have 2 spring compressors you will struggle getting the spring compressed enough....depends on the spring of course.
You could have used your old single finger compressors to slightly compress the spring so you can get the new twin finger ones onto the next
, but the nylon cord done the trick
Actually wasn't a case of getting a grab on an extra
The "barrel" shape of my spring meant that I could only grab 3
even though I could reach the next.
And the angle they were on the springs just did not inspire any confidence in the single finger type.
Decent cord, leather belt, nylon webbing..whatever helps with safety as well.
