I meant a gas torch not one of those new ones with the little flame but the old type everyone has lying around in the shed, I also used a bit tin sheet to protect the plastic covers that sit under the spring bottom mounts and loads of release oil , as said in earlier post spray in advance and keep spraying them each day till the job, hope yours come off easier than mine because if they wernt stuck it would of been a piece of cake to do.
