I pumped the footbrake, and bled the brakes, loads of play, after that I applied the handbrake to adjust the brakes.
Seemed to work ok. Other side to do tomorrow, should be much quicker this time.
Now you mention it.
While there should not be a need, each and every time I've replaced pads on my Scenic, I've found that bleeding the brakes helps stiffen everything up afterwards.... usually the day after the pad change.
Never worked out why.
