Hi Guys

most of the current range of cars now use plastic lenses on the headlights instead of glass, far less likely to be damged by stone chip etc.

The downside is that the plastic lenses age quite badly when exposed to strong sunlight, they turn yellowish and opaque. I have seen this happen to all sort of cars, mercs, opel, renault, etc.

My Solution, purchase wet & dry emery paper, I use 2000 grit paper and with patience sand down the lens, after you have finished sanding lens, use a mild abrasive car polish to buff the lenses.

I do not recomend using electric or other power tools to buff the lenses as the heat build on the lens could do more damge than good.

The results can be impresive, but you must take your time and be patient.
