Well after two weeks with no car the Renault guys say it is going again at a cost of £270 !! Apparently it was not the immobilizer but the low pressure fuel pump which I am told is located on the chassis! So my own mechanic and motor electrics guys got it wrong?? It leaves you very uncertain cos you rely on their expertise. Oh well "each man to his trade" as they say here!! I had a 'lifter' pump replaced two years ago which is located in or near the fuel tank and cost me £330 - not through Renault that time. How many more pumps are there and when will the next one go wrong? Collecting car today and will question service desk personnel at great length!!!
