Think stuart1007 has legged it....would have been nice to know the outcome of the problem.

@ annapoleon,

The magnetic tone ring is incorporated into the bearing and can't come out, if it does it's knackered.

The ring that is fitted into the hub to hold the Wheel speed sensor (ABS sensor) can't really come out unless it has rotted away, which is a possibility.

Follow the sensor wire that goes to the wheel hub to check that the sensor is still in place.

Post up a picture of loose ring.

Picture of the bearing at the bottom of this thread.

Laguna 2 NSF wheel bearing replaced now ABS fault ?
