dog owners help needed

ok so far in the last 4 years our gsd tala (*****) has had 2 opps for cancer after the first the vets gave her 1 year she went 2 before the 2nd opp but with in a week some lumps turned up again being as she was then 10 years old it would have been too much to ask her to go through it again
so a year down the line since last week we have had her on pain killers from the vet but she is going down hill fast just got to ring the vets to put her down but dont want to
2 years ago we had to have her mother put down due to cancer in the blood its not easy worse for the mrs as she helped kera give birth to 8 pups we kept 2 tala the ***** and dax the dog dax and tala have never been apart
so do i nurse her (tala) to the end or ring the vets i know whats best but cant get my head around it
Ron

added tala is the black and tan

Its the pain issue mate, if your dog is in pain, then, but if your dog is not in pain I would nurse her to the end. This time last year I lost mine after 13 years and its still hurts now.

Going to apply for a job cleaning mirrors.
It's something I could really see myself doing.

It's a tough decision to make, but you have to consider tala's quality of life. I have lost 2 dogs now 1 to cancer throughout his body the other to a spinal injury that would have healed but she would never have a decent level of movement, if she is coping with it all then make her days happy and loving, if not then it's a hard decision for you to make.
