Yeah I agree...it's probably better all round better to change both discs, but you could get away with just one...I know I've done it in the past
Given that the disc not being replaced is fit to pass an MOT test you know as well as me that the braking difference would be minimal if any at all between it and a new one...assuming the caliper etc is working fine.
Personally I would go down the route of a new bearing if the disc is still in ok condition, but as you know changing a bearing is a bit more involved than changing a disc / hub.
Or, you could get down to the breakers yard and try to bag a set of good condition rear discs, if you find any you'll get the pads as well.....done that a few times in the past also...no one round our way got anything new on their cars
