I've got to be honest Neil,I wouldn't touch a dCi RX4 with a barge pole!.

Prop shafts can give problems, and although some parts for them are now available to repair them, some are not.........we've just put a prop on one at work due to a noisy centre bearing(not available seperately) and it was 700 plus vat and labour to fit!.If you search for 'Propshaft' you'll find other people who have had to pay similar amounts.....

And guess what the same RX4 is coming in for next week........yes,a turbo replacement!..It's not completely failed yet,but it makes a hell of a noise,so the owner has sensibly decided to replace it before it decides to disintergrate and take the engine with it!

Have you ever driven an RX4?.The one we're dealing with at the moment is not pleasant to drive at all.

Sorry to be so negative, and if you still want one then go for it,but personally I wouldn't take the chance.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
