From the sound of it, your brake fluid is low.. on top of the brake master cylinder is a sensor that reads fluid is low... so when you brake... the fluid moves forward in the cylinder and switches on the lights on the dashboard.. this is probably the reason, ultimatley you will need to renew your brake pads, which is why the fluid is low... or you have a leak, which is unlikely..regards frank
