The reason I ask is that about 6 mth ago my youngest sons 52 plate Clio DCI past its MOT with an advisory that one of the front ABS rings had a crack.
Today my other son has had his 51 plate Clio DCI in for MOT and his has failed. One of the failure points is a cracked ABS ring. The braking system on both cars are working fine and the ABS system is unaffected.
Just wondering if the tester is looking for work.
The 1st car passed the MOT... the cracked ring was an advisory.
So everything else on the car was ok.

The 2nd car failed the MOT... the cracked ring was on the failure list.

Maybe the 2nd car would have been given an advisory for the cracked ring just the same as the 1st car if that's all was wrong with it!
