The only reason my 'miles to go' ever differs is if I hit the stalk button and go between readout 1 (main) and read out 2 which I use for specific journeys. I would always tend to stick with the main readout.

As for your mpg figure, that sounds about right to me if you do a lot of town driving. Obviously if you have done a long distance, fast roads drive you will get more mpg but the car would eventually creep back to the most normal mpg figure for your driving.

Hope that makes some sort of sense
