In November last year the bonnet of my Clio flew into my windscreen while I was driving 65mph on the motorway, sticking in place obscuring my vision. Since then I am sure many of you have seen the coverage of this on Watchdog.
The Clio bonnet clip has not been the only issue to receive press attention the Renault 1.9dCi
failures and Vauxhall break problem have also been highlighted. The vehicle safety branch (VSB) are the government agency set up to monitor car safety and deal with these types of problems. However, it has become apparent that they have not been doing all they could have to address these issues.
If you are also concerned about how the VSB has dealt with these issues please sign the petition I have sent up at -
Petition to: Commission an independent committee of MPs to look into VOSA’s activities.
