It may well be some type of progressive fault, ie; when something gets to a certain temperature etc. My feeling would be that if it is not looked at then it may get worse.
Choice is yours. Either get it looked at or risk leaving it.
Unfortunately, without any other symptoms it's very difficult for anyone on the forums to give you a straight answer.
Here's hoping it's not a major problem
