There is no need to remove the pressure sensors when changing tyres,you just remove the inner core,change the tyre,then replace the inner core,thats it.
As long as the wheel is put back on the same corner of the car as it was removed from there won't be any problems.I don't know why tyre fitters are scared of the pressure sensors,it's definately not rocket science.We've changed loads of tyres on cars with this system with absolutely no problems.
I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
