Hi Dino - even if you had a suitable scanner I doubt if it will pinpoint th exact problem - most ABS faults are seem to be down to faulty ABS sensors or sensor rings. It's not the scanner thats expensive it's the diagnostic software that costs the money. Basic software may tell you there is a problem with the ABS but not what's causing the problem and most of the cheap programmes won't even let you clear a fault in the system. If going to purchase diagnostic equipment it is best to ask someone who already has it first. In depth software for Renaults seems to be tightly controlled .
