Hi Funky - I thought you said the courtesy lights worked OK when using the drivers door,
The multi-timer unit is close to the fuse box but any changes require complete reprogramming of the car. Could be the programming of the unit has gone haywire and needs reprogramming or it's possible there is a poor earth somewhere in the system. Are all the courtesy lights (including the footwell) affected.

P.S. I suggest you check and time operations on all doors including the boot.
