Hello lashford, I've never heard of a position sensor in a Clio2, that said, if its a 3-door model there is a switch on the base of the seat that tells the ECU that the seat is folded and disarms the seat airbag and presumably the belt tensioner as well, this may be what they are talking about ...

If you are removing the seats then the car battery must be disconnected otherwise you may trigger the tensioner or airbag .... not something you want going off in your face, usual precautions should be observed when reconnecting.

The bolts for the seat can be accessed from under the car in recessed holes in the floor.

hope it helps

Why is it the older I get .... the better I think I was ?
