Hi, from memory the switch is at the base of the seat where the seatback pivots, and the cable breaks
... best to try and find the switch/sensor and test the cable/switch for an open circuit ... otherwise its a wiring problem.
I'll look and see if the Haynes manual has a wiring diag, not hopeful though, if its an open circuit it could be anywhere though.
