Tight in the calipers?
Didn't get the pips in the slots on the piston?
Didn't fit the shims?
Worn discs?
Worn caliper guides

Something is either allowing the pads to flex out.... which isn't easy as they really ought to self level.
Or stopping them self levelling.
Or allowing the calipers to flex
Currently in Dancingdad's garage:
