Sounds like the faulty coil problem again.Cost of replacement depends on which bank of cylinders the faulty one is.The front bank of cylinders is easy to access,but the inlet manifold needs to be moved to access the rears.
seems to be a fav on V6 . maybe need to buy a job lot for future .
is there 6 in the car (sorry if sounds daft)
