Try again (forums hung) I checked this out and was told confidently there was no cool solution (ie Dension ICE link) but discovered head unit was under drivers' seat. Got a 'connects to' unit (actually for ipod but you can get them for mp3) and removed drivers seat (fairly obvious bolts) and cover of head unit (fiddly) and broke into aerial lead and plugged the in and out into the unit - it breaks into the aerial signal, passing through usually and blocking it and feeding the Mp3 unit when connected. I put in in teh utility box under front of drivers seat and discovered (see handbook) that there is an auxiliary loom by that box which you can use to power the connects to unit (its meant for a telephone unit). works pretty well - just tune an FM channel to it.
