I hope you've solved your problem.....
As the rear calipers are alloy what you do find is that you get a buildup of white salt like corrosion between the rubber inserts and the caliper.
As this grows it expands and presses the rubber out of shape and in doing so nips the slider pin, this results in a sliding caliper that doesn't slide.
Make sure to clean the hole in the caliper where the rubber slider guide sits, and lube it to prevent further corrosion.
I'll be interested in your findings when you have fitted the new rubbers & caliper pins.
