Today I changed one of the wheels for the first time and luckily it was on my drive with a good surface, plenty of light and a steaming mug of coffee.
I seriously doubt an oldie could have done it at the roadside, no wonder so many people these days call out the rac/aa boys. Up untill now I would have felt a right wuss calling someone out for a flat but not anymore.

I agree seems to be the way with most modern cars I'm afraid, If you are not on hard level ground in perfect lighting then I'm afraid it's a job for the breakdown services as far as I am concerned.

Tho they will not come to a flat/puncture unless you have the appropriate cover .
