You should be able to get a new turbo unit from Turbo Technics for the same money as a Renault "spit & polish" job!

I am concerned about this 20% offer. Who was the CS Manager at RCS - McKnight, Tilbury? We have just had a case of a similar aged car to yours where 100% of the bill is being picked up - to be fair the mileage was a bit lower but not that much. It is curious that cases mentioned on Parker's seem to fare better but then I believe that RenUK monitors the Renault problems sections very carefully.

May I suggest that a database is started on a separate sticky with details about people who have had assistance with as much info as possible? This will stop RenUK making random decisions NOT based on age and mileage but on what day of the week it is, how bad the particular RCS manager's hang over is and the pinstick % selection method .
