for my local garage to replace one side as my cable has snapped picked up cable for £12 just hoping this is someting i can do my self cheers
Should be simple but depends on which cable and route it takes.
Undercar adjustments (if on yours) are usually seized solid and that can be a pain.
If cable goes through any chassis rails or awkward bits, tie a piece of string to the old end before pulling out. Helps to guide new one through.
