Yup - This is how mine works ! Had mine come on when going round a corner once - must have put going to fast eh ! LOL

I too have the button on the dash to diasable it. When the ESP is switched off an orange warning comes on the dash display saying ESP switched off, also the voice synth computer shouts at you saying "ESP switched off" !
