Help required following a semi-flat battery.

Hi there guys & gals, I'm wondering if anyone can help?

After a couple of days sitting idle (I've been using the van & my Scorpio), my other half tried starting the Vel today (which was very cold). Car refused to start, and when I finished work, I witnessed this myself (clicking, lights dimming, and not much else).

Thankfully, I was able to jump start it, and everything seems ok (the fuel gauge had lost 1/4 of a tank, but once re-filled was fine).

The only problem I now have is that the electric windows will only open & close in increments of about an inch - the button needs to be released & used again to move the window any further. This is true for all windows.

Is this something which is relatively simple to cure? Or is it a case of return to dealer?

Any and all advice is welcome.

Thank you in advance.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
