I have a simmilar question, having yesturday picked up my Xreg Espace, am already missing my mp3`s. I hope that someone could tell me what make and model the sterio is likely to be before i remove that seat.

Am looking at two options.

1. ( assuming its a pioneer as the remote is) adding a cd-ub100 to the ip-bus connection and mounting a panel mount usb port in the centre consol by the handbrake, for a usb stick or similar device.

2. New pioneer sterio + CA-D-PI.180/181 (depending on tuner list - what ever that means) and possibly the cd-ub100 as well.

I have had a little look today and it appears that the plastic cover above the unit may be possibly modified slightly so it can be removed without removing the seat and carpets.

Any experiance hints or tips welcome here.
