Renault Clio - Engine Management Light On

I have an intermittant electrical warning light come up and send the car into stupid mode, I think I've tried most bits but would appreciate some advice.

It only happens when coming up to junctions when idling and is a pain in the neck as most of the time it stalls.

I have noticed when I turn the engine off with the fault remaining, there is a clicking from the solenoid in the evap unit in the offside wing. I have replaced the evap and it still remains.

I have also replaced plugs and coil pack. I have also replaced the TDC sensor for a new one (and also the wiring that went with it).

If I remove the 30amp fuse from the fuses in the engine bay closest to the battery the light goes and the engine idles ok (but the fault returns up the road).

Any help would be great, thanks.
