Hi YellowLaggy - try cleaning the sensor in situ., In the past what I did was to get an old household cleaner spray container (the pump action type) - fill it up with white spirit and with an old cooking tray underneath start squirting the white spirit into the offending area. I repeated this - must have used nearly a litre of white spirit and finished off with a spray of carb cleaner - all the grease was gone - much easier and cheaper than digging out the offending sensor. Definitely worth a try me thinks.
