Whilst all the tyre sensors appear the same they give out different signals (otherwise the sensor system wouldn't recognise which is which). If a complete set of sensors where being fitted - the sytem will recognise the position of them during programming. It doesn't matter when the coloured rings are fitted it just to let us mere mortals know which corner of the car to replace the wheels if removed.
Each tyre sensor has a unique number which should be given to renault during programming.
