your MoT is no longer a certificate as it is now digital, when the MoT centre input your car details it shows the expiry etc of old MoT , the paperwork you receive is now just a receipt
Leaves me confused as to why your MoT details on new test dont match though
Also if you put a car in early for Mot and it fails you have then just been told your car is not roadworthy and basicaly should not be used as insurance may be voided in event of an accident
