Oh dear....sorry to hear you still have the problem after changing the pump.

Was the original diagnostic that made you suspect the pump done with a dedicated Renault device (Can Clip) if not you can get dodgy readings from aftermarket devices, some won't communicate with certain ECU 's on the car and this leads garages to assume that the part is faulty!

That said even with the dedicated tool you don't always get a 100% clear pointer to what the problem is....for example if the wiring to the ABS ECU was damaged you wouldn't get communication with it which would make you think the part was faulty.

You really will be stabbing in the dark without a proper diagnostic reading.


Please take the time to enter your vehicle details in the "What's current in your garage?" box.

To do this:
Hover over the "TOOLS" tab at the top of the page
> then in the dropdown click on "User Dashboard"
> click on "Edit Your Details" at the top Left hand side.
> scroll down to the "What's current in your garage?" box and enter your vehicle details.
> Once the details are entered scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes"

> Done.
