Hey all, I have an Rx4, 03/2001 model and I have noticed that recently there's a slight drumming/humming from the drivetrain at certain speeds up through the gears. Is this symptomatic of bearing/uni joint failure? 130,000km/81250miles
There is a guy down here in OZ that has urathane uni joints available for the Rx4 that he's had tooled up and made. I can get his details if anyone is interested, price would be about 200GBP + shipping, so that's not a lot more than the replacement rubber ones are on ebay that I have seen.
Currently in OzRX4's garage:
2001 Megane Scenic RX4 Privelege Verve, 2003 Clio Privelege 1.4auto, {son's car}
