Renault Megane - Engines - Megane oil light

Hi gang

I have a 1.6 Alize Sport Megane. It's only done 48,000 miles but on a long run on Thursday I noticed the Oil and Stop warning lights start to flicker occasionally, mostly when pulling away from rest. It doesn't happen all the time nor at all when up to speed. The oil was a little low so I topped it up but it's still doing it.

I have stopped driving it yes! It's booked in for a look-see on Monday. But I thought I'd ask the experienced folk here whether the 1.6 is known for this and/or what's the most likely cause? The engine sounds sweet so I can't believe it's bearings. Maybe just a faulty pressure switch? Or a worn oil pump?

A quick look at my Haynes suggests they'll have to take the cambelt off to check the pump - is that right? So will it be expensive? Should I get the cambelt changed at the same time? TIA
