The car doesn't have a manual switch to turn off the passenger air bag so when we bought it three months ago we asked the dealer to switch it off. As far as I'm aware the air bag is still in there but the ecu has been programmed not to trigger it. What I don't understand is that the warning lights have only just come on (three months down the line).

As an update, the lights are still on, but have gone out for a period of time on three occasions. Once, when I stalled the car, another time when I drove over a bridge and another when I hit a pothole. It's seeming more and more like a connection issue...if so, how do I fix it?
