Hi, I have a 98 1.6 8V Auto Megane and the speedo just died today. I have no warning lights on and have just been informed by Renault that it may cost 500 + vat!!!!!!!
I have read a post that it may be a wheel speed sensor,, if so, where is it located and how do I replace??

Any help would be appreciated.

Thought I'd add.. The speedo was fluctuating from about 30mph upwards.

I've read that its controlled by sensors on front wheel linked to ABS, Is this so> And is there sensors on both front wheels.
Currently in colborne's garage:
98 Megane RT Alize 1600cc 8V Auto
