Hi Crazy - normally if glow plugs go duff they will be a constant problem - they don't repair themselves if you know what I mean. It could be a dirty or faulty connection. I had a similar problem until I checked all the electrical connections on the glow-plugs, tourbo pressure sensor and the turbo solenoid. As a matter of interest was the fuel filter changed during the last service - water in the fuel will tend to give intermittent warnings.
