i've had that happen once

and i found that usually attaching some jump leads, and then taking the key card out then putting it back in did the trick

it seemed in my case that if the battert dropped below a certain voltage it wouldn't start, did it again the next night on leaving work aswell

i put a new battery on and it fixed it - so either i'm lucky or it was another french gremlin!
