After having Me Renault replace 5 coils I had a sixth go last weekend so I replaced the whole set myself last weekend at a cost of 38 for 4 bought on Ebay with 2 year g'tee. My question: if there is a chance it's the engine cover causing these to fail by causing them to overheat, is it worth leaving the cover off? What function does it serve? I did find that the two front lugs had been broken off so it's loose at the front anyway - Renault must have done that because they're the only ones who have worked on the car previously.
