However for those of us that are reading this thanks to the emails etc.
How do we identify that this could affect us?
I.E. is there a model number of the switch that it is connected to?
Or a picture of a good switch/wire assembly?
P.S. jst looked at mine & the wires appear to be approx 7/0.2 thickness with the connector block vertical when in situ, are these the ones?
We only know of Scenics that have been definately affected by this issue. Renault are in the process of identifying the vehicles that they wish to carry out action on. I have no further information regarding your vehicle and the risks. I do have photos of switches that show the signs of early / advanced failure if you wish me to send some to you.
