From memory the bearing will have an outer sleeve, 2 x bearing races, 2 x outer dust seals. and 2 x cone (truncated) sections, oh and a plastic ring.

I assume the bit that came out was 1 race and cone part.

Place them in the hub over the bit that is still there. (the plastic ring goes between the 2 cones / races)
