It occurs to me that I hope the problem is the same on your car as on mine! The way to check is to get an assistant to rock the car gently on its wheels while you squeeze underneath (unless you're lucky enough to have a pit or four-poster) with a hand on the various suspension joints in turn. It was quite easy to feel the knock. Just watch your fingers if your assistant gets a bit enthusiastic.
