Be careful following the above, it worked for me. I do not want to be in a position where I am blamed if anything goes wrong. Think carefully about if it will work for you before you go ahead - it will be your decision based on advice given. This is advice from an internet forum after all (do you really trust everything that is written on fora such as this?)

If the drum thermal expansion vs bearing cooling does not give sufficient clearance, you will be in the situation where the bearing is half in / half out.

Oh yes...
My view on garage help as you suggest is that either they will do the whole job or not al all (unless of course you know somebody personnally who will do you the favour)
