Remove the glovebox, held in by one screw, remove it, to pull it out use a screw diver in the slot in the middle top to release a clip.
This will expose the filter case, held in place by 2 screws, remove them being careful not to lose them in the dash, then pull the filter out.
A problem well stated is a problem half solved !
